Purpose of an Interview and Interview Questions
• An interview takes place to:
1. allow both you and the interviewee to assess whether the interviewee and the job-requirements match.
2. to assess the suitability of the interviewee to the people with whom they will be working and their suitability to the company.
3. to give the interviewee the best opportunity to demonstrate their abilities – must be asked appropriate questions, be given adequate opportunity to answer and also be allowed to ask questions of their own.
