  Why You Must Deal With Difficult People

You must address the issues. If they are not addressed, the situation won’t get better and it usually gets worse.

If you don’t do anything about it, conflict simmers and often erupts in a counter-productive way which results in co-workers becoming angry. They become angry about 1) the difficult person’s behavior and/or 2) that managers have left the difficult situation unresolved and co-workers continue to suffer the behavior.

Deciding to live with the situation long term is rarely an option.
